Since the earliest years of my childhood, I've been quite taken by the idea of playing with sounds.
From the 7th to my 8th year of life, I learned how to play the piano. I picked up the guitar at age 15, and I've been sticking with it ever since.
Around that time, I also began experimenting with software dedicated to producing music. By late 2007, I was confident enough to begin releasing material
under the name of "Black FX". I sticked with it for a while until I realized that I wasn't heading in the direction I wanted to, and I decided to start anew under the name of "Unmorph".
The current style of Unmorph is centered around slow-paced yet occasionally disturbing tracks that are made with the purpose of creating specific moods.
Classical instruments, ambient synths, industrial drums and unusual sound effects are the central elements for most of my recent compositions.
My main influence comes from the darker side of artists such as Nine Inch Nails, Celldweller and The Flashbulb.
I enjoy reading books written in English, and I also write and (attempt to) publish English prose and poetry under the name of Ian Vehrmt.
I am a fan of good design in any field. I do some designing myself: I draw various characters for enjoyment and I design and script websites.
I get along well with intersting people; they also happen to be the project's target audience.
I'm a fan of open source software.
Did I mention that I enjoy long walks and rainy days?
